Lets look closely at the main window interface

USBSoftProtect Interface

1. Output Directory button - selects directory where folder with executable file will be saved.
2. Open Directory button - opens directory where results can be found.
3. Dlls button - opens new window where dll files needed for application under protection to work. Read it here.
4. USB Flash Drive - selection of USB stick.
5. Use Pin Code checkbox - allows to use pin-code in protected program.
6. Crypt button - starts encryption of application or file.
7. Cancel button - cancel encryption process.
8. Help - you can look for help, about and register this program.

To create protected executable file you must complete such steps:

Start the USBSoftProtect.

1. Input the USB stick.
2. Select the destination folder.
3. Select program or file that needs protection.
4. Additionally you can add pin-code for the file.
5. Press the crypt button to create executable file in destination directory.

USBSoftProtect suports adding dll files to your encrypted progam. Select your program and press the Add dlls button.

Adding DLL files

1. Add dll's button - you can add dll's files.
2. Remove dll - removes selected dll file.
3. Remove all - removes all dll files.

Maximal size of file is near 170 MB.

USBSoftProtect can protect files that have such extensions:

1. exe (including dll's needed for that exe);
2. avi (video);
3. mp3 (audio);
4. pdf;
5. txt;
6. rtf;
7. djvu;
8. rar, zip (archives);
9. bmp, jpeg, jpg (pictures);
10. MS Office 97-2003 file types;
11. MS Office 2007 file types;
12. OpenOffice.org file types.

If you didn't find files that you want to protect in the list don't worry - not all file types were tested yet.
